Did You Know This About the PSO?
In the 2022-2023 school year, the BBHES PSO spent approximately $18,000 on our Gifts & Goals program. In this program, all BBHES staff members are invited to submit requests for items they would use in their work with the students. This is the largest line item in our yearly budget and represents a direct impact on each student’s learning environment. In the upcoming weeks, we’ll share examples of the types of items requested.
Ms. Kolis requested and received items for sensory play time, noise canceling headphones, and timers. These timers are used throughout the school day for activities such as attempting to wear boots for longer and longer each day, sustained attention to tasks, to signal the end of play, and more!
More detail of the items purchased can be found on our website: Gifts & Goals 22-23 - BBHES PSO
If we meet our fundraising goals for the 2023-2024 school year, we expect to spend approximately $23,000 for Gifts & Goals this year!

Thank you for a great 2022-2023!

THANK YOU to all of the individuals and families that have volunteered and contributed to our accomplishments this year. It hasn't been perfect, but we've learned a lot and have a great foundation for next year. The PSO receives so many Thank You cards and emails throughout the year and it would be impossible to share them all. Please know that the teachers and staff and community are so thankful for all you do to help support the students and the school. Here is a sample of what we've received.
