Young Astronauts Day 2024
Want to be an Astronaut for a day?
Young Astronaut Day is a STEM outreach event for students hosted by Northern Ohio AIAA. This event allows students to work as a team to solve engineering challenges ranging from parachute drops and balloon cars to Lego robots.
Teams are tasked to complete three activities that create one mission within 2 hours. These activities require students to build strong teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills. Each team competes against the other teams in a friendly competition. The event aims to inspire and educate students about NASA and the STEM field.

Location: Cleveland Public Library-Main Campus
From 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Teams:
Pilots Team (4th grade): 1 team of 6 students/ 2 chaperones
Mission Specialists Team (5th grade): 1 team of 6 students/ 2 chaperones
