Committee Chair Responsibilities: Elementary Tailgate Night

Overview

The Elementary Tailgate is an opportunity for BBHES students to tailgate together prior to one of the home Varsity Football games.  The tailgate has food for purchase, activities, and a lot of space for the kids to run around with friends.

Responsibilities

The Committee Chairs for the Elementary Tailgate Night are responsible for the planning and execution of all details for the event.  The presidents and the VP of Social Enrichment are available for support.

Timeframe: August/September

Approximate time commitment: 15 hours

Responsibilities will include:

1. Coordinate date and location of the event (the district chooses the date of the event);
   
2. Secure food vendors for the event;
   
3. Plan activities for the event and procure the necessary supplies (face painting, tattoos, pom poms, etc);
   
4. Coordinate with janitorial contacts for any tables or trash cans needed;
   
5. Recruit volunteers for the event using the PSO sign-up genius account;
   
6. Communicate details via facebook, PSO website, and the weekly PSO email.
   
7. Be present at the event, oversee set-up and clean up.
