Committee Chair Responsibilities: Welcome Back Party

Overview

​The Welcome Back Party is an opportunity for the BBHES family to come together in a casual setting to celebrate the beginning of the school year.  It is a free event to attend, with food available for purchase.  Enjoy the opportunity to see old friends and make new friends!

Responsibilities

The Committee Chairs for the Welcome Back Party are responsible for the planning and execution of all details for the event.  The presidents and the VP of Social Enrichment are available for support.

Timeframe: August/September

Approximate time commitment: 15 hours

Responsibilities will include:

1. Secure food vendors for the event;
   
2. Plan activities for the event and procure the necessary supplies; 
   
3. Coordinate with janitorial contacts for any tables or trash cans needed;
   
4. Recruit volunteers for the event using the PSO sign-up genius account;
   
5. Communicate details via facebook, PSO website, and the weekly PSO email.
   
6. Be present at the event, oversee set-up and clean up.
